“After the death of my wife, I was feeling isolated and alone and didn’t know where to turn. My neighbor told me about a staff person at [Volunteers of America of Minnesota Park ElderCenter] whom she had worked with in the past that was a great help to her. Now I’m attending a men’s group at Park ElderCenter and have a referral to a grief and loss support group. Things are definitely looking up!”
