Omegon Residential Treatment Center is a nonprofit, co-educational, dual-diagnosis facility which offers specialized treatment services for male and female adolescents, ages 12 to 17, who are experiencing serious emotional, social and/or behavioral disorders, combined with the abuse/dependency on mood-altering chemicals.

The Omegon treatment program consists of group, individual and family therapy in addition to health-oriented recreational, independent living skill development activities and special needs groups.  Psychiatric, psychological, educational and family system evaluations guide the treatment program, which averages about six months.  Aftercare services and transitional planning are a part of the continuum of care which begins upon admission.  Program participants receive ongoing contact with Case Managers for up to three months following discharge.  Family therapy and participation in parent support groups are also available as a part of the aftercare services.

The facility accommodates 26 adolescents and features spacious living areas for therapeutic, educational and indoor recreation programming, as well as administrative functions.

Omegon Residential Treatment Center is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and is a member of the Minnesota Council of Child Caring Agencies.
