Charter School Authorizing Program — offers sponsorship to Minnesota charter schools who provide successful learning opportunities to students in small, educationally creative settings.  Sponsorship includes strong oversight, accountability and resources to help charter schools succeed.

Continuing Education Unit Committee  A state-approved committee that approves continuing education clock hours for the relicensing of teachers of Volunteers of America-Minnesota alternative and specialty schools, as well as charter schools sponsored by Volunteers of America-Minnesota.

Opportunity High School is a contracted specilty school with the Minneapolis Public School which is open to all students and specializes in meeting the needs of English Language Learners (ELL).  Day and evening programs are available.

Phoenix High School is a State approved Alternative Program which serves English Language Learners as well as native English speakers who may need to recover credits.  Phoenix High School allows for flexible scheduling and has small classroom sizes. 

Service Adventure Leadership Team High School (VOA SALT) — is a Minneapolis Public Schools specialty school, serving grades 10 through 12, which features an experiential and environmental themed program that focuses on leadership development and community-based service learning. 

Stonebridge Community School is a K-5 public charter school that offers a unique combination of challenging international baccalaureate curriculum, with an array of support services in a small supportive school community. 

Adult High School Diploma Program offers English Language Learners age 16 years and older the opportunity to acquire English skills and earn a high school diploma.
