The Women's Recovery Center (WRC) is a 90-day program for chemically dependent adult women who have who have experienced multiple traumas particularly those associated with a lifestyle of prostitution.  WRC is licensed as an extended care residential chemical dependency treatment facility.  It is located 15-minutes north of Saint Paul on a secluded, wooded lakefront. Women enrolled in the program receive treatment for chemical dependency and related mental health problems, and receive independent living skills training and housing placement. The WRC enjoys the support of volunteers who provide recreational and educational services, as well as individual mentoring.

Eligibility Criteria:

Participants must be assessed as chemically dependent and be referred for WRC services.  Contact us for assistance in obtaining an assessment.

The WRC program is for women who have experienced physical, sexual or emotional abuse, which may include prostitution.

WRC staff will conduct an interview with prospective program participants to help determine whether our program is appropriate.
