Sleep Away Camp Outfitters
Helps low-income kids attend a sleep away camp!
Thanks to a grant from the Pohlad Family Foundation, we will be sending 35 at-risk, low-income children, including many foster kids to overnight summer camp -- for the very first time in their lives!
We are still in need of camp supplies for these children. We are looking for group(s) to collect and donate the following camp essentials:
- Bug Spray
- Sun Block
- Travel Size Toiletries
- Flashlights
- Hand sanitizer
- Sunscreen
- Journals
Sun glasses (generously donated by Laser Vision)- Bags (like shoulder bag, day or back pack)
- Travel size toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Shampoo
- Sleeping bags
We are hoping to have these items dropped off at Volunteers of America-Minnesota corporate office at 7625 Metro Boulevard, Minneapolis, MN 55439 by Friday, May 28th.
