THANKS A MILLION! Our Phoenix High School had no student library. So, Boy Scout Jeffrey Arcuri (pictured to the right) of St. Paul decided to provide our school with a library complete with bookshelves and books. To accomplish this daunting feat, Jeff led a group of scouts and volunteers to construct and paint six bookcases, as well as raise money for and conduct a book drive for more than 100 new and used books. Jeff himself spent 105 hours on the project, and scouts and volunteers spent another 169 hours on the project for a total of 274 hours. Wow! The project was completed in April for an Eagle Scout Leadership Services Project. The students and teachers of our Phoenix High School and Volunteers of America-Minnesota are eternally grateful for your enormous contribution! Read more about our Phoenix High School <Click Here>.
